Author visit
Keen readers from Netherfield Primary School were lucky enough to spend time with pupils from other schools during a visit by author Tom Palmer to Carlton le Willows Academy.
The Academy's LRC book club had a great time hosting children's author Tom Palmer who talked about his career choices from O Levels(GCSE) and his route into writing.
Tom is the author of three Puffin football children's series, Football Academy, Foul Play and The Squad and his latest novel Armistice Runner won the older reader's category of the FCBG Children's Book Awards.
