Parent Governor Election

Dear Parent/Carer

Parent Governor Election

We have received 2 nominations for 1 parent governor vacancy and are therefore required to hold a secret ballot.  You may vote for one candidate by putting an X in the box against the name of the person for whom you wish to vote.  Each parent should vote on a separate form.

Attached to the ballot paper is the personal statement from each candidate outlining their skills, suitability and commitment to the role.  When you have completed your ballot paper please place it in the sealed, ballot box in school reception.  You may return it with your child or by post or email to, but it must be received in the school no later than 10am on Thursday 17th October 2019.  Any ballot papers received after this date will not be considered.

The Headteacher is the Returning Officer and will be responsible for the conduct of the election. The electoral method of counting will be that the candidate with the highest number of votes will be elected.

The Headteacher will inform all parents of the outcome of the election via the school App.

Kind regards,

Jon Crone

Headteacher and Returning Officer
