Staff at Netherfield Primary School work tirelessly to try and ensure a broad, balanced and positive learning experience for all children.
Each child is different and so each child enjoys a different aspect of school life.

The most interesting topic you’ve studied at school: Crime and Punishment topic in Year 5 because you investigated crime scenes and went to the Galleries of Justice
One of my favourite subjects: English because there is such a range of things you can cover e.g. persuasive writing, non-fiction, biographies
A favourite feature of the school: The love of reading. There’s a huge library and everyone encourages you to love reading

Arts project: Simon Beck and Heather Hansen – Drawings in the snow using special snow shoes and charcoal drawings using your hands and feet

Favourite book: The Beast of Buckingham Palace
Recent learning highlight: Learning about Captain Scott and that he wanted to be the first explorer to reach Antarctica but someone beat him and passed away on the way back

One of my favourite subjects: Reading because I like the books we have in school
